STACKERS

Austmans stackers effectively stockpile bulk materials in an efficient and orderly manner. Stationary or travelling, borne on rails or crawlers, they can be supplied in fixed, luffable or luffable-and-slewable boom designs, with varying capacities.
The choice of design depends on factors such as the stacking method (Chevron, Windrow and Cone Shell) and size of the stockpile, the type of material, the required throughput and the demand  for mobility.
Tripper cars or tripper systems for transferring material from the yard conveyor to the stacker are considered part of the stacker.

RECLAIMERS

Austman Pty Ltd’s reclaimers are designed to reclaim bulk materials from stockpiles at mines, ports, power stations, etc. in a quick, efficient and orderly way. The choice of design depends on factors such as the size and shape of the stockpile, the type of material to be reclaimed, the required reclaiming rate and the need for blending or homogenization. Full automation increases efficiency and decreases man-hours. Degree of mobility required by the client also directly effects final design of the reclaimer.

Austman carefully take the following design parameters into consideration when planning which stacker and/or reclaimer system to use:

• Homogenising effect required.
• Future upgrading of the store
• Indoor or Outdoor
• Mill feed system
• The material properties of the materials to be handled

Austmans Stackers and Reclaimers are suitable for raw materials in the iron ore, cement, coal, pulp and paper, mining and other industries as well as power plants and ports. Both prehomogenisation and buffer storage can be achieved. The stacker and reclaimer systems are designed for heavy duty operation and accept products from all types of crushing installations All stacker and reclaimer systems are based on a modular design concept, which makes it possible to supply a large size range using well proven components.
