DESIGN
One of the most important aspects of Austmans services is the knowledge and experience gained by the senior engineers from many years of working in the bulk materials handling field. This underpins a youthful and driven engineering team trained in and familiar with the latest software (Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, Austodesk Inventor, Prosteel, Ansys and Space Gass). A combination of experience and youth ensures that we provide real solutions of genuine commercial benefit to a project.
After completion of the fabrication phase a complete Manufacturers Data Report (MDR) is handed over to the client.
Austman supplies a wide range of engineering services, from basic engineering design through to state of the art three-dimensional analysis. Fast and effective interfacing with our FEA, 3D modelling and Structural Analysis software provides us with powerful techniques used to enhance, refine and improve designs.
Over the past 15 years Austman has implemented some simple but effective procedures to ensure that the transition between the design phase and detailing phase is executed with minimal complications (which is otherwise a common occurrence).
FABRICATION
Having beeen established in the industry for over 30 years now, Austman has good ties with local and overseas fabricators.Our inspectors have been well trained and are now familiar with the level of quality required. Our Inspectors arrive one week before the arrival of the first batch of steel and are present fulltime in the workshops throughout the duration of the project.
This ensures the welders have been prequalified and 100% traceability of the material takes place.
Witness and hold points are incorporated into the inspection and test plan (ITP) to ensure a clear, controlled and concise approach to the QA/QC of the project takes place.
After completion of the fabrication phase a complete Manufacturers Data Report (MDR) is handed over to the client.
CONSTRUCTION
At Austman, we have been constructing Bulk Materials Handling facilities of our own design and others for over 30 years now. Our greatest asset is our people and this is proven in the fact that many members of our workforce have been with us for well over 15 years. We ensure that we only employ suitably qualified, trained and experienced workers for all given tasks.
Being a design and construct company is invaluable to the construction department as the planning for the construction can be meticulously carried out from the very outset of the project, in conjunction with the design team. All Austman Pty Ltd projects have been carried out “On Time, Within Budget”. This has always been achieved with the important aspects of, safety, quality and the environment having been priorities on all of our projects.
